INDI & Co. or better known to be as ICO Sri Lanka will be the latest addition into the Colombo scene of high end fashion concept store with a twist of affordability. Local and International customers are invited to experience ICO products, at 15 Havelock Place, Colombo 5. Located among hospitality connoisseur Havelock Bungalow and hair artistry Capello Salon, its set to create a destination heaven for the discerning woman, looking for the latest in lifestyle trends. ICO Sri Lanka will house products by local and international independent emerging designers as well as established designers, contemporary fashion. All of which have been sourced through exclusivity, limited editions, capsule collections and value for money. The store features a range of Women’s wear, from trendy casual wear and smart wear to luxury glamour evening wear. Going by the mix-and-match concept with two ranges—Western and Ethnic—in store. The store will house exclusively URBANE, K.Kristina and TAMASQ from well-established Indian Fashion Designers for the new generation of Bollywood stars to Emerging designers in Sri lanka like H-D by Hafsa Ameer, JUNO, Clothing by Chaos and April Spencer. Also a first in Sri Lanka YPS (Your Personal Stylist) a curated fashion selection from around the world of established high street brands by Adi Yapa Abeywardena. The store will also showcase creators of artistic jewelry, selected and growing range of antiques, skin friendly beauty products and a range of unique small gift items. Boutique suppliers like Bodylicious beauty products to Paddy Wax candles artisan home fragrance combines innovative scents & creative designs for every occasion, Distributed to Sri Lanka by Ravi Wickramanayake. ICO is the brain child of Indi Yapa Abeywardena, CEO / Creative Director for House of Indi, that has showcased in many fashion weeks locally and internationally and she is the backbone of “INDI” couture women’s wear and the brands diffusion Line “INDI DIVA”. A first by any Sri Lankan Fashion designer. The purpose of a diffusion line is to create a fashion collection by a high-end fashion house that retails at lower prices, creating affordability of a designer brand to any customer, which will be stocked at ICO Sri Lanka. This range is separate from her “signature line”, or principal artistic line. “I want to establish a kind of venue where unique designers from various fields gather together and encounter each other in an environment of beautiful chaos, this mix up together with different customers who all can share a dialogue of one’s passion” said Indi Yapa Abeywardena.
